It has been a humbling experience to become part of the SCN family through the Volunteer Ministry Program under the guidance of Sr. Luke. This simple and profound video captures the essence of the love, service and commitment of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth over these 50 years… and the beauty and spirit of the Belizean people who received us as volunteers into their hearts and homes!! What a privilege!!!! This ministry reminds us that “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change!” This program expands the hearts and widens the minds of all involved, drawing us to the oneness to which Jesus calls us! Congratulations and Thank you SCN’s!!!

Thank you for sharing this. I will never forget my experience in Belize. You are right, “The volunteers receive so much more than they give.” Wish I was younger so I could go again. Love, Mary

The video is beautiful and a true testament to the amazing work the Sisters and volunteers have done for those in need here in Belize.

We are humbled to be a part of it. We are grateful for the SCN Lay Ministry Program and for Sister Luke, who was instrumental in bringing us here to serve and in changing our hearts into servant hearts. Most of all to God for allowing us to serve here!

    God’s blessings and peace,
    Cindy and Mark
