Helping people affected by the war in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has created a humanitarian disaster. The UN has warned that the number of people fleeing the country may rise to 5 million in the coming weeks and months.

We, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, as followers of Jesus, recognize the deep human suffering of our sisters and brothers in Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with Ukrainians and condemn all violence and the loss of human life. We support the many people within Ukraine and the surrounding countries embracing, feeding, and tending to those displaced by conflict.

To help provide immediate aid and support relief efforts, join us in donating to the following organizations that provide direct support to people affected by the war in Ukraine.

100% of your donation will be directed to the organizations below or other religious congregations directly giving aid in Ukraine and bordering countries.

Daughters of Charity

The Daughters of Charity are doing amazing things in Ukraine and the bordering countries with refugees. Money received to the Motherhouse will go to Ukrainian efforts in the area most in need.

Union of International Superiors General

UISG is collecting donations to give directly to religious congregations located in the area of the conflict.

Jesuit Refugee Service

While we hope displaced people will soon be able to return safely, JRS and the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) are mobilizing resources worldwide to provide immediate support in Ukraine and in neighboring countries.

International Vincentian Family Office

As a function of the Vincentian Family Executive Committee, they coordinate activities, provide information, and deliver formation experiences on the heritage and charism of St. Vincent de Paul to the branches of the Vincentian Family throughout the world.
