    Karen, I was brought to tears while reading this. I was reminded of the many women (and men) forced into prostitution, addiction and eventually, homelessness with whom I have worked. Your involvement of those attending the SCNA weekend furthers the circles of goodness now surrounding this woman (and YOU!). Thank you for “being there” for these women. Janice Downs, SCN

    Individual stories give this whole issue and its horror the power to grip and convince us that we must do what we can to give a new start in life to girls like Lindsey. Surely we can all pray very specifically about the issue and for the girls–and the pimps, too. If we are called to more specific action, we’ll hear it, can’t miss it after hearing a story like this one. thanks for sharing, Karen.
