Taking Synodality forward in the Vincentian Family India

March 1, 2023

Sister Latika Kottuppallil, SCN, Provincial, Patna Province, Sisters Nimmie, SCN & Vijaya Chalil,SCN, the PLT of Bangalore Province, participated in the 17th Annual Gathering of Vincentian Family of India [VFI] held at the generalate of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Mananthavady, Kerala.

The two-day meeting was held on February 25 & 26, 2023, on the theme that called us to evaluate and take forward Synodality in the Vincentian family. Forty members from eight member groups of VFI participated actively in the search to be truly Vincentians through our ministerial presence across the country.

The presentations made by various resource persons were urgent calls to risk, to be bruised, dirty, and hurting as Jesus did. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth who participated were grateful for the opportunity to network and collaborate with like-minded Congregations and lay groups.

Congratulation, Nimmie for sharing your insights. Good topic. Let us pray for the courage to take risks.

What a great impact it would make if all of us were willing to take risks, to be bruised and get hurt. We will surely will have the smell of the sheep on us.
