There have been a lot of comings and goings in this month of September at the Belize City house. Sister Sophia Joseph joined Sister Kerry and Sister Carlette on Sept. 2nd for a two-week experience in the city. Sophia had the opportunity to volunteer with Sister Kerry in the library at St. Martins De Porres for a week and then joined Sister Carlette at LIFE for a week. Sophia also had the opportunity to meet and hang out with the seniors for one of their social support groups. She helped with BINGO, serving food and engaging with the seniors. She also helped Sister Carlette prepare the dessert for the event.

On Sept. 8, Melissa Calvi, our first Companion of Charity, joined the Sisters. Melissa visited with Sister Kerry in the library and then went over to St. John’s College, where she was able to see where she will be volunteering full-time.
Sister Barbara joined the happy band on Sept. 10. Sister Barbara was able to help out around the house and assist with Melissa settling into her new volunteer position. She also visited LIFE and called out BINGO and served food and drinks while interacting with the seniors.
Everyone was able to take part in different September celebration events. The Sisters have been blessed to have so many visitors.
