Sisters in Botswana, Christmas celebration

Posted by Spalding Hurst

December 26, 2018

The high commissioner of India, Dr. Rajesh Ranjan and his family invited the Indian Christian community in Gaborone, Botswana, for a Christmas celebration at his residence.

All the Sisters participated in the event. This was the first time such a gathering was organized by the high commissioner. In spite of many gone on vacation, more than 500 people participated in the event. Originated from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, with a Hindu background, he makes efforts to reach out to all the Indian citizens in the country regardless of cast and religion. It was an opportunity for Sisters to relate to people of many Christian denominations and broaden their circle of friends.
