Sisters from three communities in the Patna Province gathered recently for a missioning prayer service for Sister Rekha Kerketta. The service, led by Sister Jackulin Jesu, was a time of prayer, blessing, and sending forth. The Community prayed together in gratitude for Sister Rekha’s many years of ministry and in support as she begins a new mission.

Sister Rekha, a member of the Patna Province, will be joining the Sisters in Belize. She will serve alongside Sister Higinia Bol, in the catechist ministry at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Sister Rekha brings with her a wide range of experience, having served as a high school teacher, social and pastoral worker, and music instructor. She holds a master’s degree in Religious Studies from Spalding University.

We invite you to keep Sister Rekha in prayer as she prepares for this next step in ministry.
