A special thanksgiving and blessing prayer was conducted at SCN Provincial House, Patna, this week for Sister Philomena Kottoor, who will be traveling to Botswana on April 4. She will be leaving for Mumbai on March 29.

Sisters of Patna Provincial House and Arunodaya came together, prayed for her, and blessed her. Sister Marianne Puthoor from Ranchi, Sisters Regina Ekka and Mukta Tudu from Ashirvad North and Arockia Prabha from Nongstoin also were present for this occasion. Sister Latika Kottuppallil, provincial of Patna Province, handed a lighted candle to Sister Philo as a symbol of light that she will be in her new mission.

The Sisters wished her the very best as they blessed her and assured her of our loving support. A delicious dinner was enjoyed after the prayer.

May you spread that joy in your new mission, Philo. You have been a grassroots missionary always. Botswana too will provide you with plenty of such opportunities. Best wishes and prayers.

What a happy looking group of SCNs! If a picture is worth a thousand words, you’ve made a GREAT statement. I join my prayers and best wishes to those of all you who were there. Go with our blessing, Philomena.
