Sister Amrita Manjaly visited the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth serving in Botswana from April 8 to 18. During her time there, she joined the Sisters in prayer, reflection, and discernment on their 25 years of presence, ministry, and mission in the country.

She visited ministry sites and parishes in Metsimotlhabe, Kanye, and Lobatse. Sister Amrita expressed appreciation for the work being carried out and the impact the Sisters continue to make in these communities.

She also met with Associates in Kanye and Lobatse, spending time in prayer and conversation. A visit with the Archbishop of the Diocese of Gaborone offered a moment of shared spiritual reflection. The Archbishop expressed deep respect and gratitude for the service of the Sisters in his diocese.

Sister Amrita affirmed the commitment and dedication of the Botswana Sisters, recognizing them as faithful followers in the tradition of Catherine Spalding.
