Leaders from the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and Simmons College of Kentucky, Kentucky’s oldest private HBCU established in 1879, recently met at Nazareth to learn more about common threads in their mission to reinforce community bonds and promote understanding, particularly focusing on social justice. The gathering aimed to foster dialogue and explore the rich histories and missions of both institutions, enhancing their joint contribution to community service and education.
