On Saturday, Aug. 31, Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Kentucky, honored Sharon Cecil, SCNA, as Alumnus of the Year at the annual Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. This award is “given annually to an alumnus, living or deceased, who has contributed to his or her community and enriched lives around him or her. As a graduate of Bethlehem High School, his or her outstanding accomplishments bring distinction to the school and the strong foundation it fosters in young men and women.”

Tom Hamilton, principal of Bethlehem High School, recognized Sharon for her years as an educator and the many ways she helps Bethlehem. He also recognized her volunteer service in the Bardstown community and her relationship as an SCN Associate. Sharon thanked the Bethlehem faculty, staff and students and especially her family, many of whom were there to support her.
