Season of Creation

From Sept. 1 to Oct. 4, Christians around the world unite to pray and care for creation. It’s the “Season of Creation,” and it’s happening from Nazareth to Mokama, Botswana to Belize. The theme for this year’s celebration is “walking together,” and there are endless ways for your communities to show it is on a journey toward better care of our common home.

Religious communities rooted in Kentucky have created a video of stories about caring for the Earth. The video highlights positive actions communities are taking to care for Earth. These communities include the: Dominican Sisters of Peace, Loretto Community, Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, and Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
