In preparation for the feast of St. Vincent de Paul, Jane Karakunnel, SCN, invited 12 women from different parishes in Patna who expressed their desire to become SCNA candidates to the SCN Provincial House for prayer, reflection and sharing on Sept. 24, 2017. Only six were able to come for the program.

Agnes Jeremy from Patna City, Augustine Toppo from Kankarbagh, Kamala Anuranjan and Kiran John from Kurji, Theresa Murmu from Paliputra and Mariamma George from Chakkaram parish intermingled with the Sisters in the Provincial House during the refreshments. They also watched a video on SCN ministry in the US, Belize, Botswana, India, and Nepal. This was the second organized meeting with the women. The women expressed their willingness to meet more often and to learn about SCN charism.
