‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ was observed in the Nazareth School, Chandapura, on July 22, 2022, during the morning assembly. The students fondly remembered all our great ‘soldiers’ who sacrificed their lives at the Kargil war on July 22, 1999.
The assembly was conducted by the students of Grade 7 C to remember the martyrdom of the hundreds of brave Indian soldiers in Kargil War, which was one of the greatest wars fought by the Indian army. The staff and the students remembered the families of these soldiers who lost their loved ones in the war.
A big salute and tribute to those 527 courageous souls and more than 1,000 wounded soldiers in the war. We remember their fortitude and are grateful to them for their great sacrifices. “May we never forget our fallen comrades.”
