Sister Mukta Advocates for Migrant Workers
Sister Mukta Marandi urged stronger legal protections for migrant workers during a regional gathering in Burdwan, West Bengal. She encouraged greater knowledge of labor laws and access to benefits, compensation and emergency assistance as dioceses plan Migrant Resource Centers across Bengal and Sikkim in India.
So moved by these “shares”. What I kept hearing was the thread that binds us all….the love of Christ. Beautiful.

What inspirational testimonies! I heard many reflections about being transformed, seeing the world with new eyes, and recognizing a need, and difficulty, to change from long inculcated attitudes and beliefs. For me, this video is a witness to creating opportunities to provide for cultural exchange wherever possible. Peace and unity is built one relationship at a time. The many expressions of gratitude to God and the Belizian people shared, give praise to God and the recognition of God’s presence when leading Mary Lynn to establish this mission both back then, and now! Abundant thanks to all who shared and to the creators of this video!

This was just Beautiful! Thank you to all the SCN’s who made this journey and paved the way for people like me to go there and learn about this beautiful country and people. I will always be grateful for my times in Belize!
