Standing With Communities
After Climate Disaster
This summer, we ask you to stand with our global neighbors affected by devastating climate events.
In Kerala, India, deadly landslides displaced more than 3,000 people. Sister Joicy Joy and her companions were among the first to respond—offering food, supplies, and spiritual comfort. In the aftermath, she continued outreach through trauma counseling, legal workshops, and pastoral care to help survivors rebuild on unfamiliar ground.
Elsewhere, SCNs continue to assist in Tennessee and Kentucky, helping families recover from historic flooding and rebuild after storms. In drought-stricken Kenya, Sisters bring clean water and sustainable farming to communities on the brink.
Your gift today will provide vital aid to those affected by the catastrophic landsides, enhance conservation and sustainability efforts, and strengthen the ministries of the Sisters who stand with those rebuilding their lives after disaster.
Will you join us in this mission?
The climate crisis is not tomorrow’s problem. It is the challenge of today that we all must face. The time to act is now. Let us work together to create a more sustainable and equitable future for generations to come.
Thank you for your support in this important mission to care for our common home.
