With heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we join the world in mourning the passing of our beloved, Pope Francis. His life was a clear witness to the Gospel, marked by humility, compassion, and commitment to the poor and the planet.

Pope Francis walked among us as a shepherd who connected deeply with his community, calling us to tenderness and justice in a world too often marked by indifference. He reminded us that true greatness lies not in power, but in mercy; not in possessions, but in service. His deep love for creation, expressed so beautifully in Laudato Si’, invited the whole Church – and all humanity – to care for our common home with reverence and urgency.

Pope Francis called us, especially as religious women, to be bold in mission, to go to the margins, to accompany the suffering, and to live our consecration with joy. His witness challenged and inspired us to be bridges of peace, voices for the voiceless, and signs of hope in these troubled times.

As we commend his soul to the loving embrace of God, may we carry forward his legacy with courage. Let us recommit ourselves to the values he held dear – mercy, simplicity, justice, and love for all creation.

Pope Francis, faithful servant of God, rest in peace. Your light will continue to shine in the heart of the Church and in the lives of those you touched.
