Navjyoti School, established in 2007 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, is owned and administered by the Nepal Nazareth Society and recognized by the Nepal Government. The school focuses on the holistic and harmonious development of each student, believing in every individual’s potential to become integrated, socially conscious, mentally strong, and kind-hearted citizens.

The students learn and grow atmosphere of love, freedom, honesty, and sincerity. Known for providing quality education in mid-western Nepal, Navjyoti School’s mission is to offer accessible and quality education to students in Surkhet and surrounding areas. Currently, around 860 students are enrolled.

The school has achieved several milestones in academics, co-curricular activities, sports, and community engagement. Navjyoti students excel in national examinations and actively participate in community service and development programs, fostering a sense of social responsibility. The students have received various awards and recognitions at district and national levels for their academic and extracurricular achievements, as well as their social service.

Over the years, Navjyoti School has invested in infrastructure improvements, providing well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities. Currently, Sister Susan Tudu serves as the principal, and SCNs Suchita Kujur and Mamta Tete serve as teachers. Over the years, many SCNs have played a vital role in the formation of the students.
