The Navjyoti Center in Surkhet recently distributed supplementary food items and sanitation materials to 30 pregnant and lactating mothers, along with six malnourished children. Additionally, 10 families whose homes were damaged by heavy rain and landslides received essential grocery items. This effort was carried out in collaboration with Ward Chairperson Dipak Koirala and the members of Ward No. 13, Birendranagar, who expressed their gratitude to Navjyoti and the supporting funding agency.

Sister Rose Plathottathil, second from right, visited Nazareth today while traveling in the United States with family. After attending events in Minneapolis, she stopped at the Motherhouse on her way to Houston, Texas, with her brother and niece. Sister Rose serves in Rajgir, overseeing a hostel for children.
