Students from Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, spent time in Nazareth and Bardstown volunteering through service work. They met with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, worked in the courtyard and helped with the stamp ministry. With Sister Sarah, they helped a woman named Barbara renovate a garden space in front of her apartment.

I saw the Courtyard the other day and thought how good it was looking. Thanks for cleaning it up
    Looking good

  2. Gilly Simpson

Hi Ellen. It’s Gilly Simpson from St. Michael’s. Samantha is my daughter. She greatly enjoyed her time there. Hope all is well!

  3. Ellen Sprigg

We sure enjoyed working with these amazing girls! Hope to see you back soon!

  4. Sister Angie Shaughnessy

So proud of my Mercy sisters. Over fifty years separate us, but I am proud to be both a Mercy Academy alumna and a Sister of Charity of Nazareth!
