Usually, around the Easter season, LIFE Belize plans an outing for the seniors they serve. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, they were not able to do the annual trip. However, that did not stop them. Sister Carlette led the initiative to take the party to them! Fried rice, fried chicken with vegetables, and freshly squeezed orange juice were made. Good hampers were packed and hot cross buns were baked. All these were delivered to each senior in the program along with handmade cards. LIFE would like to thank all who assisted to make the day possible. Click here to see more photos.
The Pittsburgh Community of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, along with the residents of Vincentian Villa and Terrace, participated in a food drive to honor St Vincent’s words “…to serve the poor is to go to God.” Over 40 bags filled to the brim were delivered to North Hills Community Outreach Food Bank along with a check for $325 to continue their service to the poor.
