The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in Kenya invited the Gongoni parish community for Mass and lunch. It was an occasion for the Central Leadership Team to get to know the local church as well and to celebrate Sister Adeline’s Jubilee.
In the evening, the Sisters enjoyed the walk through the garden and the cornfield.
The Central Leadership Team arrived in Botswana on Aug. 18 and then traveled to Kenya on Aug. 28 to experience the Africa Mission.
The village of San Vincente, located on the edge of the Guatemalan border, might appear to be an unexpected locale to find the enduring spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. Yet, it’s here that a small but vibrant Catholic Church, named in honor of the saint, stands as a symbol of his legacy.
A commitment of new Associates and renewal of commitment for current Associates was held on Sept. 23, 2023, in Kanye, bringing together Associates, Sisters and Candidates.
The distinguished alumnus and educator returned from retirement to lead Saint John’s School and to discover a space dedicated to her enduring legacy.
