The lamplighting ceremony of the 11th batch of Basic B.Sc nursing students took place on Dec. 15, 2023, in Dengel Hall of Kurji Holy Family Hospital campus. The students, decked in their immaculate white uniforms, looked angelic.

There was a lot of joy in the air. Sister Princy, the administrator, in her message, encouraged the students to be light for the sick and suffering. Faculty members and invited guests added glamour and fun to the occasion. A meaningful interreligious prayer service added sentiments and unity in diversity.

A devotional prayer dance by senior students and a melodious group song by students added more spice to the celebration. Indeed, it was a day to cherish all the blessings of God upon all of us. May it continue to train many more young women and equip them to serve humanity with love and compassion.
