Inauguration of St. Bakhita

In Kanye, Botswana, St. Bakhita Pre-school was officially blessed and inaugurated by Bishop Frank Nubuasah, SVD, the Bishop of Gaborone Diocese. The invited guests were the priests, Sisters, Kgosi (the chief of the village), town council members, parents, parishioners, and many well-wishers. “It was a great day,” says Sister Mary Michael Dang.

St. Bakhita Pre-school belongs to the Diocese of Gaborone and is administered by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Sister Mary Michael is appointed as the principal of the pre-school.

The home was successfully built and was gifted to a woman named Rasheda and her son Davion. Elaine’s family expressed their gratitude to all those who made the home build possible, and they hoped that the new home would bring happiness and joy to its residents.
