In Remembrance of Sister Bridget Vadakkeattam

October 13, 2025

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Bangalore Province, bid the farewell to Sister Bridget Vadakkeattam with deep sorrow and sadness. Sisters from several communities across the Bangalore Province gathered to pay the last tribute and pray for the soul of Sister Bridget. Sister Jackulin Jesu, President of SCN Congregation, and Sister Latika Kouttuppallil, Provincial of Patna, were present with Sisters during this difficult time to offer solidarity and comfort through their presence.

People from near and far traveled to be present for funeral services, including family members, SCNAs, members of neighboring religious communities, and parish well-wishers. All joined together in love and remembrance of Sister Bridget’s life of faith and devoted service.

The Bangalore Province expresses profound gratitude to everyone who sent messages, made phone calls, or joined in person at the funeral in Chandapura. May Sister Bridget rejoice in the bliss of heaven in God’s presence and continue to pray for the Congregation from her heavenly home.
