On this day, Monday, July 4, 2022, we celebrate Independence Day in the United States. Also called Fourth of July or July 4th, the federal holiday commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. May we give thanks to God for the birth of our nation and reflect upon our freedom as a force for growth in goodness and truth.
