“God is satisfied with a soul of goodwill” – St. Louise De Marillac
Sisters in Pittsburgh, along with Caritas Support Services staff and a few VCS employees who work at St Louise Convent, gathered for a festive meal after the 11 AM Mass held at the Sacred Heart Chapel on the May 9 feast day of St Louise De Marillac.
Associate members in Chattanooga, Tennessee, gathered to remember Jerry McCrary. SCNAs Betsy Kammerdiener, Sarah Haddock, Pam Lawson, Lisa Harrison, Carol Newton, Jim O’Connell, Jackie Jackson, Karen Sloan, and Sister Alice O’Connell celebrated Jerry’s life at their monthly faith group gathering on July 19, 2022. Jerry passed away on May 21, 2021. “He is gone from our sight but always remains in our hearts,” says Karen.
Grandparents are the greatest treasures, founders, storytellers and keepers of the traditions in the family. Honoring these legends, Nazareth School, Banakal, celebrated Grandparents’ Day on July 26, 2022.
After the long drought of three consecutive years, God really blessed the Coast of Malindi with good rains this year.
So glad that you were all able to gather together and celebrate in the dining room. It looks like it was a wonderful celebration in honor of St. Louise de Marillac.
