“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Ten days of intensive English language workshop was organized for the first-year candidates at Mokama. Marianne Puthoor, SCN, was the resource person. The purpose of the program was to instill a love for language learning, teach various skills in written and spoken English, and introduce yoga meditation and time management.

Sister Marianne guided them throughout the courses. They were taught how to be grateful to God for everything and make use of every moment. This course has made them confident, hardworking and very active learners. It was a very enriching program for the candidates. It also helped them to discover their hidden talents and potentialities.

On the last day of the workshop, candidates put up a program, which was appreciated by all. The candidates and the director are deeply grateful to Sister Marianne, the resource person, for instilling in them the value of learning the correct language by being an active learner, managing time, practicing discipline, praying, and practicing yoga.
