On Saturday, July 9, 2022, Sisters Susan, Michelle, Adeline, Camille, Kelly, Sangeeta, and Jackie attended Mass and the awards dinner at the Twentieth Annual Education Law Symposium sponsored by Loyola Marymount University Center for Catholic Education and the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), held at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Sister Angie Shaughnessy, SCN, has graciously invited SCNs to join her each year for the presentation of the Edward M. Shaughnessy, III award in memory of her brother. He faithfully supported her nephew in his special education program in Catholic schools. This year’s recipient was Alicia Sims, faculty leader of learning differences curriculum at Louisville’s Trinity High School.
