Dangriga Associates

The SCNAs in Dangriga have been on the move. Even with the difficulty of getting new members and aging, the Dangriga Associates are still carrying out their mission to serve God and God’s people.

The SCNAs reported that over the Christmas holidays they had Christmas parties for children on both the Northside and Southside of Dangriga. They also took time to visit the shut-ins while gifting them with a card and a little donation. After the steps of a single mother with a daughter with disability collapsed they were able to assist her with building a new one. Children received helped with back to school supplies in January to get them going after almost 2 years of not being in the classroom. And a Fourth form student is happy to be receiving tuition help from the Associates and was proud to show them a report card with A’s and B’s. And if that is not enough, they still continue to share food from their pots, clothes from their spare and a hand wherever needed.

With the help of the Associates in Belize City, solar lanterns were also gifted to the Dangriga Associates to give out to families in need.

What an inspiration our Dangriga SCNAs have been and continue to be. They do know, and live the expression: “I am because we are, and we are because I am.” May God continue to bless each one of them abundantly.
