CLT Meets with Bishop of Gaborone

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Central Leadership Team met with Bishop Frank Nubuasah, SVD, the Bishop of Gaborone, Botswana on Friday, Aug.19. SCNs, Sunila Erumangalathu and Nalini Meacheril from Botswana were also present for the meeting.

He recovered a brick from the building she ministered for many years in and etched a memorial to her on it, which will be placed at Nazareth as a symbol of love and remembrance. The memorial brick serves as a tribute to Sister Theodora and a reminder of the rich history of the place she called home.

A Tribute to Sister Elaine McCarron: A Home Built in Belize

A group of friends and family, including several members of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, raised money to build a home in Belize in honor of Sister Elaine McCarron, who was remembered for her kindness and lifelong service to others. The home was successfully built and was gifted to a woman named Rasheda and her son Davion. Elaine’s family expressed their gratitude to all those who made the home build possible, and they hoped that the new home would bring happiness and joy to its residents.
