May 12 was International Nurses Day. Here are some photos from a few of the celebrations held around the Congregation. In the Ashirvad South community, SCN Nurses were honored by the community and had an award ceremony where they were presented with themed sashes — Pioneering Spirit, Talented, Compassion and All-Rounder. At Nazareth Motherhouse Campus on Monday, May 15, nurses’ hands were blessed by leadership.
“We don’t take for granted what these hands do daily,” Sister Barbara Flores said as she led the blessing. “In terms of the care, the healing, the peace, the gentleness that these hands are for our Sisters.”
Nazareth Hospital Mokama celebrated nurses last week.
