Catholic Teachers’ Unity

The National Catholic Teachers’ Convention was held on Feb. 1-2 under the inspiring theme of “Catholic Schools: Dedicated to our students, committed to our Catholic Faith, united for progress through loving service.” Drawing in over 800 teachers from around the nation.

For the two days there was an array of activities, including entertainment, heartfelt praise, and moments of collective worship, fostering a sense of unity and purpose among all present.

Ministering from the SCN Center in Belize, Sister Kerry Rowland, with the Sisters of Charity, Halifax, was one of three guest speakers who spoke during the event. With compassion, she spoke on the topic of working with special needs children while encouraging teachers to keep up the excellent work they are doing.

Sister Kerry’s presence and contribution were warmly appreciated, reaffirming the impact of her message on the hearts and minds of those in attendance.

    When you say national, you mean Belize, usa national will be in Pittsburgh this Easter week. Is Sr. Angie S on the agenda. She is always a well-known speaker. I am so sorry that I am no longer a member since retirement.
