Chattanooga SCNAs Remember Jerry McCrary

Associate members in Chattanooga, Tennessee, gathered to remember Jerry McCrary. SCNAs Betsy Kammerdiener, Sarah Haddock, Pam Lawson, Lisa Harrison, Carol Newton, Jim O’Connell, Jackie Jackson, Karen Sloan, and Sister Alice O’Connell celebrated Jerry’s life at their monthly faith group gathering on July 19, 2022. Jerry passed away on May 21, 2021. “He is gone from our sight but always remains in our hearts,” says Karen.

At least 37 people have died in eastern Kentucky’s devastating floods. All Sisters of Charity of Nazareth are safe. At a later date, SCN volunteers will respond to the disaster area to provide relief with home repairs.

Mission Committee Donates to Community Food Pantry

The Nazareth Mission Committee donated a portion of its proceeds from the July 14 Silent Auction and Bake Sale to the St. Vincent de Paul Bread for Life Community Food Pantry in Bardstown. On July 26, Nazareth Campus Service Director Will Rosenbaum presented a check for $1,251.75 to Bread for Life Food Pantry Manager Sandy Camargo.
