With fall colors at their peak and the autumn air crisp, Sisters bundled up as they were chauffeured around the Nazareth Motherhouse Campus on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022. The rides were provided by Around the Town Carriage, a business in Bardstown.

During the carriage rides, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Archivist Kathy Hertel-Baker shared a brief but detailed history of locations on campus, such as the volunteer house, former school buildings and also shrines and statues. The afternoon activity was one of several offered to the Sisters this fall.

Wow, I would love to have that carriage ride, especially at this gorgeous autumn season.
