Candy for Caring at RFC

Sister David Clare Reasbeck and Sister Betty Vannucci sold Candy for Caring at the Religious Formation Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. They continue to volunteer making candy every Tuesday and sell the delectables to promote the ministry whenever they have the chance. In raising money for local charities they continue the legacy of Sister Margaret Regina Murphy’s movement by the spirit to do something to help the hungry, homeless, sick and those in need.

For candy sales call 502-380-0064.

How do I purchase some candy? I would like to buy a gift for my daughter’s family for Valentine’s Day.

I have been trying to contact the sisters to purchase candy. I have called the number listed so many times to no avail. Are they not making candy any longer?I wish I could get an answer?

The Catholicgirls made (for years) tons of this delicious candy! Some of our best and funniest memories! We love David and Betty and miss with all our hearts, Jamsie and Margaret.

I have purchased Sister Margaret Regina’s candy for some time now during my visits to Nazareth. I was fortunate enough to see her several years ago. Sister taught me in the first grade at Father Andrew White School in Leonardtown, Md. I have very fond memories of her.

Yes, this is a wonderful ministry. I lived with S. Margaret Regina on my first missin and she loved to make candy then after school sometimes. If you are in the Bardstown area and don’t want to drive to Louisville to get the candy, Nazareth Visitor Center has been selling it here at Nazareth for 10 years now.
May God bless all SCNs and others who help carry on S. Margaret Regina’s ministerial initiative.
