On Aug. 7, 2025, the Sisters from the SCN Provincial House and Arunodaya came together for a prayer service in deep gratitude for Sister Anita Murmu’s faithful and committed life as she prepares for her mission to Kenya.
The prayer service began with a procession, with Sister Anita Murmu carrying a candle as a symbol of hope.
During the blessing ritual, Sister Anita received a crucifix, seed, and salt—symbols of faith, missionary zeal, and courage to face challenges.
Sister Anita will travel to Mumbai on Aug. 8 and proceed to Kenya on Aug. 12, 2025. Let us keep her in our prayers as she prepares to begin this mission journey.
