Blanketing Mokama with Love

On the Feast of the Holy Family, marking the final day of 2023, Associates with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth embodied the true spirit of compassion and community in Mokama. In a heartfelt outreach, they extended their care to local widows, offering nourishment and the warmth of blankets. This gesture of kindness brought a sense of togetherness and support to those often overlooked, reinforcing the power of community and the enduring spirit of giving.

As 2023’s final day unfolded, SCNAs from Mokama convened at Mr. Ashok’s abode, transforming it into a haven of prayer and unity. This gathering, coinciding with the feast of the Holy Family, was more than a meeting; it was a testament to our shared humanity and compassion. Together, we reached out to the village’s widows, offering not just sustenance but also warmth through blankets. Our hearts expanded as we visited those unable to join, ensuring no one was overlooked. This act of kindness was a profound experience, echoing our commitment to service. Immense gratitude to all SCNAs and a special thanks to Sr. Ancilla for her unwavering support. Similarly, our Patna SCNAs brought Christmas cheer to the leprosy patients of Dibra, a gesture that deeply moved us all. These moments of connection and care define us.

Lovely that the Feast Day of the Holy Family was celebrated with community service by the SCNAs! I love how you made the extra effort to visit those who could not attend and hope the leprosy patients were cheered as well.
