On the Foundation Day of SCNs in India, nine SCNAs came together in the Provincial House of Patna. During Mass two of them, Kamala Devi and Fulmantj Xess, renewed their commitment. Four of them who made a commitment last year could not come. They had lunch with the Sisters. “It was a very nice occasion to interact and to come to know them,” said Sister Jane.
The village of San Vincente, located on the edge of the Guatemalan border, might appear to be an unexpected locale to find the enduring spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. Yet, it’s here that a small but vibrant Catholic Church, named in honor of the saint, stands as a symbol of his legacy.
A commitment of new Associates and renewal of commitment for current Associates was held on Sept. 23, 2023, in Kanye, bringing together Associates, Sisters and Candidates.
The distinguished alumnus and educator returned from retirement to lead Saint John’s School and to discover a space dedicated to her enduring legacy.
