Associate members of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth gathered together in person and via Zoom April 22-24 to celebrate 50 years of their relationship with and commitment to the Sisters’ mission. The event was held in Nazareth, Kentucky.
During the three-day gathering, attendees heard presentations from Associate Pat MacIssacs and Associate Eugenie Coakley and a strategic plan update from Sister of Charity of Nazareth Associate Director Beth Vetter. The weekend’s keynote speaker was Dr. Carol Zinn, SSJ, a professional consultant and past president and current executive director of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. Dr. Zinn led discussions among members about what it means to be an Associate and resetting in a Jubilee year.
Original music by Associates Chris and Peggy Ryan, recognition of past leaders, Eucharistic Liturgy and social events were also featured.

Thanks again, Beth, Tammy, Core Council, Tech Team, and all who worked so hard to make this past year’s prayer services and gatherings happen and bring us together in such a meaningful way.
