Asha Deepam Celebrates ‘Care for the Earth’

On Dec. 21, 2023, the Asha Deepam Center for the Special Children illuminated hearts as it hosted its Annual Day cum Christmas celebrations. The event, a vibrant showcase of the exceptional talents possessed by these special children, left the audience in awe with its diverse range of performances, including dance, skits, singing, and instrumental music. The day’s overarching theme, ‘Care for the Earth,’ was intricately woven into each presentation, conveying a powerful message of environmental consciousness. The event’s success was a testament to the tireless efforts of the dedicated mentors who worked diligently with the children, shaping and nurturing their abilities. Additionally, the unwavering support from the parents played a crucial role in making the celebration a resounding success. The Chief Guest, Fr. Victor Emmanuel, the Parish Priest of Crawford, delivered an insightful address. Sister Nimmie, the Provincial, took the stage to express her appreciation for the parents who continuously strive to create the best possible atmosphere for their special children.
